Valjevo Industrial Area
The Industrial zone of Valjevo is strategically positioned along the main road towards Belgrade, only 18,2 km from the highway A2, adjacent to the international railway line connecting Belgrade and Bar (Montenegro). It borders the newly constructed Valjevo – Lajkovac motorway, and will be directly connected through the construction of a 2.4 km long Southern Bypass.
The industrial zone encompasses 230 hectares of fully serviced land, with a network of new roads, stormwater drainage systems, electricity, a wastewater treatment plant and natural gas infrastructure. With excellent connectivity and a fully developed infrastructure, the Valjevo Industrial Zone is an attractive destination for domestic and foreign investors.
Currently, over 25 companies operate in the industrial zone. Some of the most prominent local enterprises include Samedi (furniture production) and Elbi (electrical equipment). Among foreign investors, notable companies are the German companies Hansgrohe (bathroom equipment) and Bizerba (measuring devices).
